What the Camp is
NextGen Golf Academy is an Aspen-based, bilingual youth golf camp that introduces Latino youth to the game in a welcoming, supportive environment. Through personalized coaching and mentorship, campers build golf skills, confidence, friendships, and a lifelong love for the sport.

A Typical Camp Day
Our camp days typically last 3 hours during either the morning or afternoon. Each session builds upon the skills developed in the previous days, while introducing new activities and exercises to improve foundational golf skills. Students can expect plenty of games, competitions, and one-on-one instruction.

Lifelong Aspen resident, former ski instructor, and longtime Aspen Junior Golf volunteer. Dave focuses on technique and has been mentoring young athletes for over 30 years.

NextGen Golf Academy is open to children ages 7–12 in the Roaring Fork Valley. Our program is designed to make golf accessible to everyone, with a special focus on serving Latino youth and families who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the game.

Not at all! Whether it's a child's first time picking up a golf club or they have played before, all skill levels are welcome. We provide the equipment and instruction needed for every camper to learn and have fun.

The camp is completely free for all participants. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and community partners, every child receives golf instruction, equipment, games, mentorship, and meals at no cost.

While we teach the fundamentals of golf, our mission extends far beyond the game. We focus on building confidence, emotional intelligence, patience, respect, and friendships in a safe and encouraging environment where every child feels supported and valued.
